Chillventa

Life C4R - Carbon 4 Retail Refrigeration project was disclosed for the fist time at Chillventa 2018, the leading biennial fair for refrigeration, air-conditioning, ventilation and heat pumps which took place from last 16th to 18th October in Nurenberg, Germany.

Epta was exhibitor with a 100sqm booth (Pav 9, Stand 9-213), where presented its latest products and innovation. An entire area of the booth was dedicated to the presentation of Life C4R project, with interactive contents and conferences about the milestones riched until now by the FTE System.

Epta FTE Full Transcritical Efficiency is a revolutionary transcritical CO2 system which merges simplicity and performance, for 10% energy saving and up to 20% lower installation and maintenance costs. FTE is the solution for efficient refrigeration in any climate. Recognised as an innovative success, FTE was awarded an award for innovation at the German Refrigeration Awards 2018 and Refrigeration Innovation of the Year 2017 at the UK's RAC Cooling Awards.

During the exhibition, Epta presented positive figures and the results of measurements taken from real applications of its innovative FTE technology, which already boasts about 200 successful installations, such as at Wentworth Point (Sydney) in Australia, Santa Fé in Argentina or Alicante in Spain, all of which have confirmed the values yielded by the preliminary theoretical studies.
